York Archaeology Ticket Portal

DIG

DIG, Delve and Discover an Archaeological Adventure!

DIG is a hands-on archaeological adventure giving kids the chance to become trainee ‘diggers’ and discover the most exciting artefacts from over 2,000 years of York’s history!

Eligible for a discounted ticket? Find out more here about how to redeem a discount: https://www.digyork.co.uk/discounts-gift-cards/

We have a range of safety measures at DIG, including gloves and masks, but part of your visit will include taking part in a replica excavation which uses regularly sanitised rubber soil. Find out more at https://www.digyork.co.uk/visit/

Our DIG Experience is usually tailored especially to introduce children to archaeology  however, we have now introduced a special "adult tour" for those more mature budding archaeologists!  This special tour will usually be the last tour of the day (in term time) and will focus on specific archaeological digs around the City of York. If your group is adults only, please select the last time slot of the day. If your group has children, please select a tour slot that is earlier in the day.

Here at DIG we strive to be as inclusive as possible. Please contact us at access@yorkat.co.uk, quoting your booking reference, to inform us of any access requirements to ensure you have a memorable experience.

Sorry, no tickets are currently on sale for this session.
